My passion for nursing has permitted me to work in many diverse areas of health care in which I have been able to empower and integrate knowledge translation to interdisciplinary healthcare professionals. I have over 29 years of experience as a frontline health professional, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Professional Practice Leader, Clinical Educator, Team Leader, Nursing Supervisor and Charge Nurse. Healthcare settings include community hospital, teaching hospitals, homecare, nursing homes, industry and private practice.

Nursing environments include Medical Surgical ICU, Neuro Trauma ICU, Emergency Department, Hemodialysis, Acute Medical Surgical Wards, Continuing Care, Restorative Care, Palliative Care, Rehab Unit, I have kept up my frontline practice while working in non-frontline roles. I believe strongly in understanding and experiencing the complex issues that face frontline health professionals in trying to provide excellent patient care. This is essential in being able to support frontline staff in non-frontline roles.
