Kaylem Boileau is the Corporate Wound Care Lead, and Registered Dietitian at the Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre. Kaylem is an Inaugural Advisory Panel Member of the Canadian Pressure Injury Panel (CPIAP), has spoken at the Wounds Canada Pressure Injury Symposium, and has collaborated with Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada (NSWOCC) on education initiatives. Kaylem has an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Food and Nutrition, as well as a Master of Health Sciences from Ryerson University. She has completed the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC-CAN) and continues to advance her knowledge in wound care to support her patients. At Toronto Grace, she supports the nutritional needs of her patients while leading inter-professional wound prevention and care across the organization and delivering staff and patient education on wound and ostomy management.
