Downloading and installing Microsoft Teams app on your device is a very straightforward process. All you have to do is visit the link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/microsoft-teams/download-app and follow the on-screen prompts until it's installed.

If you don't have an account created already, please create one while installing the app. There is no cost to download and install Microsoft Teams. You can also watch this quick 2 minute video that demonstrates the process of downloading and installing Microsoft Teams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4G2pb5ry3EY

Due to time and resource constraints, Ostomy Canada Society's Tech Support team won't be able to assist you one-on-one with Microsoft Teams app install. If you are not comfortable downloading Microsoft Teams to your device, we recommend taking assistance from someone in your family, friends or a computer professional who is familiar with downloading applications to your computer/mobile.

  1. Inspect your email's junk or spam folder, as the confirmation email may have been inadvertently redirected there.
  2. Attempt to re-register for the webinar, ensuring the accuracy of your email address in the registration form, as a typographical error in the previous entry may have occurred.

Should the confirmation email still remain undelivered, we encourage you to contact support@ostomycanada.ca, where our technical support team is available to assist and resolve any underlying issues.

If you miss the webinar, worry not; we’ll publish the recording on our website and YouTube channel with 3 days of the webinar date.

Our webinars primarily serve as a platform for support and education for individuals living with an ostomy. These sessions are designed to offer valuable information, insights, and guidance to enhance the quality of life for our audience. Given the nature of these webinars and their focus on educational content, we have not traditionally issued certificates of attendance.

It is important to note that the majority of our participants, who are living with an ostomy, typically attend these webinars for the wealth of knowledge and support they provide. In most cases, the need for a formal certificate of attendance is not a primary consideration for this audience.

Webinar Disclaimer

While Ostomy Canada Society and our guest presenters will do our best to help answer your questions, any questions requiring a healthcare professional to perform and assessment via telehealth or in-person should be directed instead to the Medical Lifestyle Advisory Committee. We also encourage you to reach out to your physician and/or an NSWOC in your area for further questions that aren’t answered during the webinar. Note as well that recommendations made during a webinar are not intended to be a substitute for seeking professional advice, guidance and treatment.
