Step Up for Ostomy

Get ready for an amazing 2023! Together, let’s surpass our previous achievements and make an even bigger impact. Thank you for your incredible support—we can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish this year!

Every year, Canadians across the country celebrate “living life to the fullest” by participating in a national awareness and fund raising event called Step Up for Ostomy (www.stepupforostomy.ca). This year Step Up for Ostomy is being held on Saturday – September 23, 2023. Throughout Canada, individuals living with an ostomy are extending an invitation to their friends and family to participate in various activities such as walking, running, biking, hiking, or any preferred choice, with the goal of raising funds and promoting awareness for Ostomy Canada. In previous years, the Step up event was primarily held “virtually” to abide by public health guidelines. Our hope is that in 2023 we will broaden our outdoor activities and yet we will always respect our public health rules and the safety of our stakeholders. This amazing cross Canada event will raise much-needed funds to help us improve the quality of life for people living with an ostomy in every province and territory. Visit our website www.stepupforostomy.ca to find out more and to download such items as the Planning Manual, FAQ, pledge cards, forms and all kinds of support tools.

In 2022, you helped raise over $100,000. Thank you for your incredible support…. We can't wait for 2023 step up for ostomy event!
