Ostomy Canada ED Message June 2024

Dear Supporters, Donors, and Members of the Ostomy Canada Community,

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my departure from my role as Executive Director of Ostomy Canada Society, effective at the end of June. Serving this incredible community has been an honour and a privilege, and I am deeply grateful for the support, dedication, and commitment each of you has shown.

During my tenure, I have witnessed firsthand the strength, resilience, and solidarity that defines our community. Together, we have made significant strides in advocating for ostomy awareness, providing essential resources, and supporting those living with an ostomy across Canada. These achievements would not have been possible without your unwavering support.

As I transition out of my role, I want to assure you that it will be business as usual at Ostomy Canada Society. Our dedicated team of professionals and volunteers remains committed to continuing our mission of improving the quality of life for all individuals affected by ostomy. The programs, services, and initiatives you rely on will persist, and our focus on meeting your needs will remain steadfast.

In the coming weeks, our board will be working diligently to ensure a smooth transition and to find a successor who will carry forward the vision and values of Ostomy Canada Society. Rest assured, the organization is in capable hands and will continue to thrive and grow.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve this extraordinary community. Your trust, collaboration, and encouragement have been the driving force behind our accomplishments, and I am confident that Ostomy Canada Society will continue to flourish in the years to come.

With heartfelt gratitude and best wishes,
