Step 1: Sign Up for the Webinar #

• Visit Ostomy Canada Society’s webinar page on our official website and select the date for the upcoming webinar.
• Complete the registration form provided.

Step 2: Confirmation Email #

• Monitor your email for a confirmation message, which will include the webinar link.
• If the confirmation email is not in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder.
• The confirmation email will be sent from [email protected]. Ensure to add this address to your safe senders list to receive future communications efficiently.

Step 3: Join the Webinar #

• Every attendee must download the Microsoft Teams app to their device. Instructions on how to install Microsoft Teams app to your device can be found here.
• On the webinar day, use the link in the confirmation email to join.
• Ensure your browser permits third-party cookies and supports Microsoft Teams.

Joining the webinar on Microsoft Teams

• Open the webinar link in your confirmation email to join.
• When you click on the webinar link in the confirmation email, the event will launch automatically in Teams, where you’ll see the event screen.

Interacting During the Webinar

• During a town hall, you can engage in Q&A, where you can post, reply, and react to questions. If the Q&A is moderated, you’ll receive a notification that an organizer received your question and will review it before posting. 
• To open Q&A, select Q&A  at the top of your Teams window.
• To ask a question, type in the Ask a question text box at the top of the Q&A panel..

Troubleshooting Video Issues

• If video hangs, close and rejoin using the same link.
• The session is continuously recorded, allowing you to resume where you left off.

Step 4: Post Webinar Instructions #

• After the webinar concludes, expect a post-webinar survey to provide valuable feedback.
• Follow us on social media and subscribe to our newsletter for upcoming events and announcements.
• If you miss the webinar, worry not; we’ll publish the recording on our website and YouTube channel.
