Question: Post-Surgery Ileostomy Concerns and Product Fit Issues

Good morning,

I underwent ileostomy surgery on September 8, 2023, which required revisions. Since returning home, I’ve encountered issues with the size of my stoma, which is now 1 inch and 3/4 wide. This size exceeds the maximum width of my flange. Do I need a different flange? Additionally, I’ve faced challenges with nursing support and product fitting. Although I’ve received my ADP, I’m still awaiting a visit from an experienced stoma nurse.
